In the classic Christmas song, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” there’s a line that says, “Make the Yuletide gay.” Well, it seems that this user’s uncle took that line quite to heart, as he chose to come out on Christmas Day. That must’ve been quite a surprise for the family!

Especially since they were devout Catholics! I sincerely hope that the family accepted him and that they were able to have a good Christmas. It’d certainly be one for them to remember, that’s for sure. It takes a lot of guts to do something like this, so well done to the uncle.
