#26: Ken Dryden Now
After retiring early in 1979, Dryden pursued law, writing, and politics. His book The Game is considered one of the greatest sports books ever written. He later served as a Canadian Member of Parliament and cabinet minister, proving his impact reached far beyond the hockey rink.

He is remembered as both a champion goaltender and a public intellectual. Dryden continues to write and speak on issues of education, sports, and society. His unique blend of athletic achievement and cultural influence makes him one of hockey’s most multidimensional figures.
