#25: Ken Dryden Then
Ken Dryden burst onto the scene in 1971 with the Montreal Canadiens, winning the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP before even playing a full NHL season. Towering in net, he became the backbone of a dynasty, helping the Habs capture six Stanley Cups during the 1970s.

He was remembered for his calm demeanor and consistency, earning five Vezina Trophies. Dryden’s trademark pose — leaning on his stick during breaks — became iconic. His intelligence and poise made him stand out, and his dominance defined one of the greatest eras of Canadiens hockey.
