Like many people, when you first start out with an idea, it often comes from somewhere. Most of the time, people find inspiration from people who have done similar things before them. And whilst some might never have heard of these people, others out there have been looking up to them for years.
After the news broke out of Luke’s tiny house, he was contacted by his idol, Derek Diedricksen, a fellow tiny house designer. Diedricksen has an impressive portfolio as he is also a tiny house author. Diedricksen was Thill’s inspiration behind starting the tiny house project, so it was a surreal moment when his idol contacted him.
