#38: Lice Is Not Nice
If you’ve ever had the unfortunate opportunity to have head lice, you know how miserable it is. Once there’s an outbreak at a place like a school, it’s game over for everyone involved. Lice spreads like wildfire once someone becomes a host. That’s why the ER protocol for treating head lice is so strict at most hospitals.

This person works in an ER that doesn’t mess around with lice. Their quarantine protocols are so strict that they rival those of COVID quarantine procedures. We get it. Imagine a hospital with a full-on lice outbreak. No, thank you. It would spread everywhere, from other patients to doctors to nurses.
