People’s Wild ER Stories That Give Us Newfound Appreciation for Doctors

This ER story is another graphic one, so buckle up. This storyteller once saw a man get carted out of an ambulance with a mind-bending injury. The man’s eyeballs had popped out of his head. Thankfully, he was still in possession of his eyeballs. He was holding both of them in his hands. 

Disturbing? Definitely. But maybe it’s a good thing that he was able to salvage his eyeballs. To make this story even creepier, the patient was completely calm. There was no sense of panic at all. Perhaps he was in shock over the whole ordeal. We have no idea if doctors are able to put someone’s eyeballs back in their face, but we sure hope so.
