Some of the things that ER staff witness on a daily basis are beyond belief. This person once witnessed a man’s foot completely split down the middle. Literally. His foot was cleanly divided from his toes to his ankle. It was a shock that it didn’t completely fall off. So, how in the world does someone sustain such an injury?

The patient had allegedly run over his foot with a tractor. Ouch. Hopefully, this guy was wearing steel-toe shoes or something. Otherwise, his whole foot may have come off. Tractor injuries are no joke. You should always practice caution when working with heavy machinery. Even then, accidents can still happen.
