People’s Wild ER Stories That Give Us Newfound Appreciation for Doctors

Alcohol and daredevil antics do not mix well. Many a human have injured themselves while trying to show off under the influence. This storyteller once had a patient who showed up at the ER with an arrow through his skull. The arrow had gone directly through his eye socket and went several inches back into his skull. 

Thankfully, the arrow did not hit his brain. If it did, this would have been a completely different type of story. Our storyteller was able to save this guy’s life, although he lost vision in one eye. So, how did the arrow end up in his eye? He and his buddies were drinking, and he took the challenge on as a dare.
