#15: That’s Understandable
Dog lovers everywhere will understand this person’s plight. They had to admit themselves to the ER for a dumb injury that could very well happen to any of us. Our storyteller tore four ligaments in their ankle after falling off a sidewalk and rolling their ankle. If you’ve ever had a sprained or fractured ankle, you know how painful this type of injury is.
The silly part of this story is the reason our storyteller fell off the sidewalk. They were distracted by a really cute puppy that was walking nearby. They were so mesmerized by the fluffy cuteness that they didn’t see the sidewalk curb and stepped off in a truly precarious manner. Let this be a friendly reminder to us all that adorable puppies are not worth a sprained ankle. At least most of the time.
