People’s Wild ER Stories That Give Us Newfound Appreciation for Doctors

This story is an example of how a community can band together and take care of each other. This storyteller is a cop who was posted at the ER one night. In classic late-night fashion, he saw more than a few wild ER cases. The most memorable one involved a woman who had been bitten by a snake in her front yard. 

The woman’s hand was swollen due to the poison of the bite. However, it was dark when she got bitten, so she didn’t know what type of snake she encountered. A few minutes later, two young boys came running into the ER with a disembodied snake. It turns out that they had witnessed the snake attack and decided to avenge their poor neighbor. The unfortunate snake never stood a chance against them.
